My room featured a tv, minibar, and heated bathroom floors for extra comfort. The fitness area was a nice addition too. Super nice team and made great dining recommendations.

I loved that the hotel is just a few steps from Laugavegur, filled with shops, cafes, and vibrant local culture, and I also enjoyed leisurely walks to Hallgrimskirkja, a fine landmark that is only about 500 meters away. The bar on-site provided a nice spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city.

The breakfast spread is excellent with amazing pastries. The noise from nearby bars can be bothersome at night.

The Sand Hotel is a gem! The staff showed a deep care for our stay, especially Aiste and Ruta-they genuinely were very good too help us plan our outings. Plus, the beds. Oh man, I've never slept better! It was like resting on clouds!

Now, it wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.
